Sep 10, 2015 · Literally the oldest chapter that were on a street called fraternity row. Most have now moved to other locations around the Bama campus. Since the early 2000s the term has migrated around and is now used by most SEC schools and some in Texas and the ACC.

i’m so confused why old row is so prestigious. not hating but is there any reason besides them being the first sororities here? coming from in state i’ve always heard aopi kd zeta and tri delt are the “top tier” houses but ppl on here say xo theta phi mu adpi and kappa(?) are top. usually private school girls go old row from what i know. just can someone explain

Hazing is a way bigger issue in frats than sororities. If it does happen, there’s not going to be much outside info on it. It’s difficult to stay away from certain sororities during rush without coming off as rude/getting dropped from every sorority. These are all incredible sororities with a lot of legacies and southern girls. ADPi, Theta, and Phi Mu are the best of old row with solid sets of fun, beautiful girls. A lot of people have been complaining about Kappa taking too many of out of state girls, but the sorority took an amazing group regardless of where they’re from.
