I got my NT8 setup to connect to both Apex Tradovate and Apex Rithmic accounts at the same time, with live data. For Tradovate, it should be simulation account for eval. I've tried amp and ninjatrader trials, but I think amp and Sierra combo is the best. Ninjatrader takes a while to start up and load charts, versus Sierra which takes a few seconds only. Customization in sierra is also amazing. tradovate is what i like the most is so straightforward, the biggest drawback is that you cant manage multiple accounts as seamlessly as you can on ninja. Tradovate is also our recommendation. I think managing multiple accounts will be better in the future with Tradovate, since Tradovate is now part of NinjaTrader.
