From what I have read the recall only effects guns manufactured in 2013 and earlier.This Serial number pattern 1Dxxxxxx has shown up randomly now I think starting in late 2015 early 2016. This is what I think and it is only my opinion at this point and I have no facts to back it up. I think Taurus made a change to the frame in the TCP metal wise, placed a unique serial number on them and sent them out to me sold.
