I believe they use Yuasa batteries. If it’s lead acid, the battery tender is fine. If by chance it is a lithium ion battery, you need a tender that is compatible with lithium ion. Then when I hit the 4wd button the light went out which showed the hot wire was no longer getting power. Same as when sliding it into diff lock.
