I have used Sidecar health for the past two years and just renewed for 2023. I haven't had to use it much, so take this with a grain of salt. My employer doesn't provide health insurance, and the main reason I stick with Sidecar is that it's just easier than trying to pick from all the confusion of a regular health insurance plans.Sidecar is the best! I can honestly say I've never "enjoyed" talking with my health insurance company, but Sidecar makes everything so easy. They are always very helpful and quick to respond. I haven't had anything more catastrophic than a two-mile ambulance ride and two bags of saline, but that was mind-bendingly expensive EVEN WITH insurance. Insurance didn't cover the ambulance (unlike Sidecar), and my share of it was $3500.
