Having said that, I had an Ultra Carry for awhile, and it worked perfectly reliably.I carry an all steel Pro daily and rarely carry my much lighter alloy framed Compact (officers frame/4" barrel). Resale on the CDP's is fast. Frontstrap checkering is nice, but on the alloy frame, it is sensitive to large rings. Pro TLE II seems better choice if two tone and service melt and ambi is not required. With TLE you still have night sights, and front strap checkering. Pro Carry II is a Base model.
