Reading is passive. Practice problems are how you nail down what you've read. The 300 page doc is based on the KA videos. The first time I took the MCAT I passively read the doc, and the second time I did almost all of KAs PS practice passages / questions. Copy and paste section from 86 page to the “extra” tab on Anki and make sure everything make sense (comparing to 300 page). Then copy and paste certain sentences from summary with cloze deletions. Spend more time w/ the 300 page document. It is one of the best book sets availability for having near-total depth of content without going way too far into detail. There is still too much detail in some places. You hear different opinions from different people because different people are different. Get UWorld anyway.

I watched all of the KA P/S vids and read the 300 page doc along with it. The 300 page doc is more like a transcript of the videos but there are a lot of additional info not from the videos so it's worth at least skimming along to find which info aren't on the video. For CARS, I've been using Jack Westin (JW). This is a continuing struggle for me.I did mostly self study for every concept I got wrong on Altius and Kaplan FLs, and KA for more broad content review. I also should have done more psych than I did with the 300 page doc, could have pretty easily bounced that score a couple points with a bit more time.The 300 page KA P/S doc is very good material to go over. Its faster then the 300 page doc since there is so much detail in that thing. i second 86pg doc + reinforcing with anki! the 300pg was super daunting to me. 86 page, anki, and uearth. got me 2 132’s and a 131 on the FL’s and pretty confident a 132 on the real thing. The 300 pg doc is nicer to go through when you're doing a little bit each day (and if it's your first time going through it). But if you're trying to get through it really fast (like all in one day for whatever reason, it can be daunting). If you're going to be doing Anki and watching videos alongside of it, I doubt it matters which doc you use.

If you rly knew everything on the 300 pg doc, youd probably get a few more questions right than if you only knew the 100 pg doc, but in terms of efficiency/most bang for your buck, the 100 pg doc will get you 95% of the same info in 1/3 or 1/2 the timeKaplan sucks for P/S. It doesn’t hit the major points the same way and leaves a lot out that is tested. I think P/S is the one section you almost NEED to use anki for.
