I had a hard time figuring out how to study for my first COMAT exam and adjust to being in clinic ...My IM COMAT is in a week and a half and I've been doing UWorld. I feel like I have a good handle on the material but then I get around 50-60% on my UWorld sets. I've been watching OnlineMedEd and I read through Case Files: Internal Medicine.So I only have one more weekend to study for the IM COMAT. So far I have done ~300 uworld questions. I am debating if I should just focus on doing as many uworld questions as I can vs get a COMBANK or a COMQUEST and run through all the questions in a week.I took the EM COMAT a few months ago, I used just the COMBANK question bank. It's a pretty heavy memory based sort of thing: memorizing antidotes, trigger words for emergency procedures, etc. If you're pursuing EM, EMRA gives some nice little booklets of high yield info, but if not, I found COMBANK good to get through! 1.

The COMAT is a joke compared to Uworld in terms of question difficulty. The only thing that makes it hard is the vague and poorly worded questions and bizarre topics they’ll test you on. I think I had like 5 rheum questions and had to guess on 3-4 of them.

I would recommend Rosh for EORs and Uworld for final PANCE review. Uworld has longer questions better for building time management compared to Rosh IMO. No matter which one you use, both are great study tools for PANCE alone or together!
