I opted for the entire assembly because both would be warrantied for 2 years unlimited miles. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, but at least I'm covered for 2 years ... Fill the tank needle goes to full. After a few miles needle suddenly drops to E (empty). Check Engine light comes on and a warning comes up "Fuel Sensor Fail". Truck runs perfectly fine.
