Everything before the CP3 (high pressure fuel pump) is under vacuum pressure. So, just like a straw with a crack in it will suck air bubbles, your fuel lines with a leak somewhere will suck air. The air bubbles can cause a p0093 or p0087. The low fuel stall may be from a pickup tube issue in the tank.
