Div 2 memento.
Once the room is cleared and everyone else moves on, there's the Memento guy running around collecting their tokens, but looking like they're sniffing burnt toast. But it's excellent for a solo/farming build. A single token can proc Intimidate, so it's useful for a Hunters/CQ build. It's great for skill builds.

Find backpack as targeted open world loot. Do a level 4 control point in that area. Get the first boss to spawn. Immediately kill the boss, don't kill all the ads. Kill yourself with a nade after the boss dies. Spawn at safehouse. Spawn at green gun icon at the control point.

Especially if you have 2~3 blue or yellow core instead of full red. Personally, I'd go for a 3 red 2 blue build with technician. That way you still have a decent damage output and survivability and 2 skill tiers with the backpack. Memento is very good.Difficulty and directives can help you with first layer by increasing target loot drop chance. Every directive add 3% to base drop chance, and the base drop chance is: 60% on legendary, 50% on heroic, 40% on challenging, you can figure out the rest. Sources that garentee one target loot drop (i.e. supply room box, named enemy).Decided I really wanted a Memento so I went to the Summit. No tricks, no exploits, just played on Challenging with 2 directives for about 50 levels with backpack selected as targeted loot. Anderson manhunt is by far the most efficient exotic farm right now. Summit specifically has pathetic drop rates even on Legendary with 5 directives (what I play).
