Try the Verify Cache on other games you have, and you'll see the same thing: 1 file failed to validate. Either that 1 file cannot be fixed by validation, or it is a file meant to always show up as failing validation. Try using fps_max 999 and fps_max_menu 999. Set resolution to native for your monitor. Make sure multicore rendering is enabled in game settings.
