I've owned a few watches with yellow lume and I think some tones are nicer than others (for example, the new Doxa anniversary models and Panerai models' yellow are nicer than the brown used by Omega). I like the use and don't understand why people don't see it as a design choice.

Putting all these measurements together, the Hamilton Khaki King does come off as a rather sizable watch, especially for a 40mm timepiece. For $150, it's pretty hard to beat, looking at the Seiko 5, for example: I just picked up a couple a little while back. May 3, 2019 · The Seiko is white and goes on when in darkness. The Citizen is very strong initially with the hand lume stronger than the dial. The Seiko is also equally strong with the hands and dial the same. The Seiko lasts longer through the night, but both brands are legible all night to the next morning. If your watch had 40 tubes you could pay close to $500 to replace those tubes in today's dollars.
