I have both the G30 and G23 and neither have much recoil in my opinion. They fit my hand better than any other pistol I own. You want recoil try my Mod 29 S&W with 240gr bullets or a G20. Both the G30 and G23 are great shooting pistols and hit what you are shooting at.
