My scanner showed P0300 (symptom 00) and only 189 misfire counts on one cylinder (#6).Not all P code readers are able to read/reset those codes as if the ABS light is on there is a code set in the ABS system. There are 4 code families in GM vehicles, P. B, C and U. P code or powertrain code readers can't access the other codes where ABS, airbag and other systems reside.
