I've never written a review before but feel I should warn people about this shambolic organisation. Absolute horrendous. We're an existing customer looking to downsize (half our current mortgage). We have never missed a payment and downsizing puts us at 60% LTV. We stayed with YBS to reduce the redemption penalty.Service gone down hill. Not great when a Darlington building society cheque bounces. (Stockton branch) Closed account due to poor interest rate. Had to go back to branch to sort out. Can never get through by phone always need to leave message. To be fair always get back to you but this can be several hours later.Mortgages can be complicated and confusing.
