Skyrim light armor vs heavy.
Light armor's biggest drawback is that buying the light armor smithing perks won't get you the best weapons. You can get around that though at the cost of only one perk. Boost your smithing up to 100, then take all the heavy smithing perks up to daedric, then get dragon armor. Now you can make the best weapons and light armor in the game.
