During your regular OTF class, take off the incline but do a very slow jog at 3.7 mph - So your body gets used to the jogging motion. Once your body is used to the motion, add .2 to .4 every month. By the time the next 1-mile benchmark hits (Which, based on historic average, it'll be ~3.5 months.), you should be able to jog all the way at 4.5mph.Great post and I am heavily thinking 4-4-3-1 strategy. I did my first ever Tread 50 last night. I got 2.8 miles. The first 14.5 minutes were go at your own pace. The middle 14 minutes was a 30s AO, 60sWR, 30sAO. I was in the orange the entire time. Last 14.7 minutes was go at your own pace, where I managed to bump my speed up to 8. I was super proud. I think I might like Tread50 over Strength 50!
