In terms of the spring rate, it may have been a bit of a trade off for solo. Wife liked over stock. Progressive springs up front are doing the job nicely. Share. The Ohlins set handles the big bumps just as good as Legend, but the small/intermediate bumps are more forgiving. I still have Legend Axeo in the front, I feel they are rigid and don't ride any better than when I had switched to heavier fork oil with my stock front suspension. The Axeo was really a waste of money, in my opinion.

Ohlins are great, but pricey, and kind of over-engineered for most people. Basically, they're close to full race suspension, and 99% of people don't really need it. Fox and Racetech are both good, simple, well performing. Fox being more pricey than Racetech tho. There are old industry standards like Progressive and Bitubo.

So he's dynoed both shocks, and found the Ohlins to be more impressive. He said that they are both great shocks, and both digressive, but the Ohlins are more efficient and better functioning. He also said that they are far better engineered as far as tolerances go. Also the machining is superior inside and out.
