The Austrian Stoll device on the STG is a flash suppressor, wire cutter, and it supposedly dampens vibrations. STG's are known to be the most accurate FAL's. Well-known member. This by no means answers all your questions, but this is my opinion on the wood versus plastic debate. Plastic is easy to maintain and strong. Also it looks good on a battle rifle like an AR and its cheap. Wood is less durable, scratches more easily, cracks and swells, and is expensive.Good photos will help with good advice, plus you will need good photos to make a good sale later anyway.
