It gets 30mpg on the highway at 65mph so I guess if it regens for 7% of the time then it will probably drop to 27 to 28 mpg. The L5P is flat out a better built motor! Go do your research! The L5P has new heads on it that flow much better and a new fuel injection system but the main engine is mainly the same. Main and oil cooling were increased to deal with the extra power.
