Sorry about the typo, I currently have a 3G Network Extender. Verizon sold this to me to help with my Cell Phone Signal Strength. It has helped considerably with that problem. It connects to my router, and is positioned in a window. The only problems with it are that it will not work when I have LTE...My original Turbo was replaced due to screen damage - but same issue happened on both. When on WiFi and Extender, the cell phone signal icon does not have the 3G or House icons. Settings -> About Phone -> Status -> Network Strength and Status shows only 1x. SMS Messages are significantly delayed or queued up for delivery later.

There must be some confusion I have a 4G network extender not a 3G. The directions clearly say" Ensure your Verizon wireless 4G LTE handset is enabled for Advanced Calling" According to both level 1 and 2 tech support HD calling must be turned on to work with a 4G network extender. So yes HD calling is turned on.
Make sure Advanced Calling is disabled. You cannot dial into the extender to connect with #48 and connect if it is. Any 4G phones that Verizon releases in the next several years will HAVE to have 3G and probably 1X radios also included, meaning they can be used with the Network Extender and in areas that do not yet have 4G service. It makes no sense for Verizon to sell phones that can only be used in a limited portion of their calling area.
