Which is odd, given how Dark Souls II is far more magic-friendly (greater quantity of bonfires, items that replenish spell uses, etc.). Long-term, the demon scar is really the ultimate weapon for this build. I would also suggest at least one dark infused weapon. The scaling and damage are similar to chaos but it will help against fire resistant enemies. Until you can use chaos/dark, just use fire/deep infusions.
