Honda Odyssey (1999-2004) had a lot of transmission failures but they did not occur untill 60k-80k miles. Honda did not fix the problem until 2007 model. It cant hurt any trans cvt or regular box o gears to change the fluid and filter every 30k miles. After the whole Nissan CVT problem and the anti CVT sentiment I think your CVT will last as long as the car with regular maintenance. Probably about 10k miles longer than the warranty.
