There are literally new hinge kits with back covers on Amazon for $35. It is an easy diy repair. My wife has a friend that GAVE her a i7 ideapad 5 for free. It needed a fresh boot of windows and a hinge. I've got $35 in it. Great little laptop for free ($35). Same thing with my daughter’s laptop. Bought in Sept 2021.
