Kia optima door lock problem.

I took my Optima in to the dealer with the same problem. The fix was replacing a small rubber disc at the top of your brake pedal that had been worn through which made the car think the brake had been activated. It seems like it could be an easy DIY fix to replace the disc, so that might be a good place to start.just had a similar problem with my optima on the drivers side, power lock and manual lock would not open drivers door, after fighting with the door i did get it open and took the door panel off, lubed all internal parts of the door and it still was sticking, ended up to be the lock itself and had to get it fixed at a local garage, $173.00 later its fine, they had to replace the lock .24 Door problem of the 2004 Kia Motor Optima.
