Just beat it today, my advice is to aim for getting a perfect score on level 1. The extra lives you get on the secret level can make the difference when you get to the final level. Other than that pray hard to RNGesus and hope you get the slime boss on level 3 and the lava zone on level 5. Biggest tip: focus on collecting fruit. You'll get 1000 points for every fruit collected, then an additional 5000 points if you collect all 3 fruits in a level. 8000 points per level just in fruit. I tried playing Progress Mode, and couldn't figure out a way to exit the game. I ended up quitting SDV itself and restarting the day. There was a single check point in the level, then no check point again that I saw. I made it ~90% of the way to the end and still hadn’t hit another check point.
