I looked up how to reset to factory defaults in my enhanced owners manual and it says to press the settings button, rotate to system settings and press. Then select others, then rotate to factory data reset. Here is how to get the close button to work to raise the screen. Turn off the ignition. Pull the radio fuse. Wait a while. (I waited 30 seconds) and reinsert it. In the 2008 Odyssey, this fuse is on the bottom row of three, 5th slot from the left. Start the car. Press the open/close button and the screen comes back up.

Check fuses first. If it's not a fuse then it's most likely the blower transistor. It's behind the dash and mounts with two screws into the ducting right after the blower motor.
