Deadliest catch would of DEFINITELY reported the death of a former captain on their show as they have in the past. hell they reported Tony Lara's death and he was literally just captain for half a season. so of COURSE they would report the death of Elliot who literally has years on the show. I believe he was there from seasons 8-11 or 8-12.
