Spectrum is in the process of consolidating all of its tech platforms after several mergers and they are really really slow about it. The remote dvr function doesn't work for all of us. If you are on what is known as the "spectrum guide" remote dvr access via the app does not work. It only works for older equipment on the navigator guide.

I am at the current level of the Spectrum app. For years I was able to program the hard drive DVR from the app and for the past 6 months at least I get a Ref Code IRDV-1000, "DVR info unavailable on this device".
