Deadly Strike is still a good set on a templar. I still get decent damage running Deadly Strike on jewelry and weapons, Kinras on body and Slimecraw monster set. Rune focus helps sustain and sun shield give damage shield and explosive burst at the end. I've had no troubles so far running it. Archived post.

Obviously if you run enough trials to have the sets, then Relequen or Yokeda would be great options, but it might also need to be tested: with the nerf to crit damage, you might want to sit around 50-60% crit rate rather than higher, opening up the possibilities.
