#1 · Sep 4, 2020. Hello, The AC stopped working and not blowing cold air. The vehicle is 3yrs 9 months old, so its not under warranty. I checked with dealer for refrigerant refill and he quoted $600 for new freon type. So went to a private AC technician for recharge and he found that there is a leak in the pipe that goes to the third row seating.

Over the weekend the dreaded check engine light came on my hybrid yet again. The first time it came on I got the U73. The second time I got the RTT 18-087. Along with the light being off, the van also wasn't generating heat and it was a cold day. Even after 20 minutes it was blowing cold air.The compressor not turning on doesn't automatically mean the compressor is bad. There is known issues with intermittent compressor failure, and the compressor leaking. Those are separate issues. If your AC was working one day, and the next day it's not engaging the AC clutch, it could very well be the AC clutch.

We just had AC compressor replaced on 2018 Pacifica L. $1.8K repair on a 2.5 year old car that has just went out of warranty (mileage).
