The way I do it is insert it into MS Word (weird, but it works). Click the picture, and choose remove background. Then you put a square around what you want to keep. It's pretty sweet. There might be easier ways, but that's the way I do it. Oh, and make sure you save it as a PNG.

If you already accepted the EULA for 2K20, it will only work for 2K20 even if you uninstall it.
