The G30 gen3, G30SF gen3 & G30S have the same factory grip texture. The gen4 G30SF has a different grip texture. The Gen3 G30, gen3 30SF & Gen4 G30SF have the same slide. It was fine and very usable but I really prefer the Gen 3 grip to the Gen 4 texture and the large magazine release really dug into me with IWB carry. I also felt the gun was loose in my hand with the flying pinkie finger and that I never had the real firm grip that I like.
