It reaches around 200ms (sometimes up to 500ms) during the afternoon.I've been getting massive lag spikes the past two days. I'm not sure what the problem is. The nature of the spikes makes it seem like a latency issue, but it only started recently, only seems noticeable in instanced content, and when I ran a speedtest my ping was only 8ms and my download/upload were excellent.

FFXIV when not in view of many PCs is very well optimized and will use 100% of your GPU provided there's no CPU bottleneck, which will starve anything else trying to use your GPU by design. Cap your framerate, if the in-game limiter doesn't work I'd suggest trying Nvidia's control panel one or AMD's chill, alternatively Rivatuner's capper.I've been lagging horribly for about an hour in game, but it seems more of a server sided thing. Rubber banding happens when you drop a bunch of packets for a few seconds and the game has to catch up once your connection stabilizes.
