Once you remove that hub then you can see the cam gear and pin. It might be fine, and your issue is just the hub in front of it. You should be able to pull that off with a puller. Jan 9, 2019 · 43. Bought a lbz zf6 170k miles. Runs and drives very well untill you start getting on it. When get on it it will throw a code for p0606 and goes into limp mode. Drove it couple other times the. After consulting with many folks who work on Duramaxes that seems to be the only common issue with broken cranks is the possibility that the balancer has gone bad. When it goes into reduced engine, the ECM turns off the injector on the cylinder that is knocking, and it goes away.
