Oberlin has an art museum, a REAL art museum (sorry, Bates). My daughter was also intrigued by the creative writing program and by the winter term.

So what happens then? The better applicants found themselves in “lower-ranked” schools like Kenyon who could have made it into Emory or UVA in the “big research uni” group. Hello all, posting once again after a gap with questions about my second D's college admissions process. this time the focus is on the LACs and we have a boat load of them! LACs tend to be selective I realize and we wanted to have a good mix of name brand schools with safeties. One of the schools we are looking at is Kenyon College.
