Originally approved in 2013, the Knightdale Station neighborhood consists of 611 single-family homes on 251 acres and the 192-unit Cottages at Knightdale Station multi-family site, adjacent to Knightdale Station Park. So far, 285 single family homes have been built/permitted. Home construction is complete in Phases 1, 2, and 3, and is actively taking place in Phases 6 and 7.Availability. Knightdale Station Park soccer fields are heavily used throughout the year for co-sponsored athletic programs, Town events, and private rentals. All three fields are under a contracted use agreement every Monday-Friday from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sundays from 1-6 p.m. from February-mid-November.Wee Camp is a half-day summer day camp for our littlest campers. These half-day programs are a great introduction to the structure and rhythm of day camp. Days are filled with songs, games, water play, circle time and crafts. We keep our ratios intentionally low so each camper can have plenty of one-on-one attention and care.The YMCA of the Triangle launched Swim for Life in March 2011 in response to reports that minority children and teens had high drowning rates, and some 70% of African-American kids did not know how to swim. We believe swimming is a life skill and all children and adults should have access to water safety classes and basic swim lessons.The YMCA Before School program is also held at this school. This program starts at 7 a.m. and dismisses at the first bell. Kids can eat breakfast from the school cafeteria, work on homework or simply relax and enjoy quiet time with their friends.
