They say the transmission needs to be rebuilt because the TORQUE CONVERTER is bad which is burning the oil (brown) and causing the grinding noise when accelerating. TOTAL COST = $2500 which is rebuilding ... theres a slight "whine," if you will, in my car.. its nothing that sounds misplaced though.
