Bottom line is that Honda's CVT is a great transmission imho. Compared to my 2008 Accord I get about 10 more miles per gallon on the highway—c.37-40 mpg, depending on speed, ac use, etc.. It gives fast and smooth acceleration. The European Honda Accord is the Acura TSX in the US. Completely different car and different issue. There are known issues with the new CVT transmission. I believe there was a TSB for updating software but not sure that completely fixed it. Check with your dealer (or in this thread I believe this was already reported).

Honda never put the CVT on their 6 cylinder Accords. The 3.5 6 cylinder Accord only came with the AT6 tranny. I only say this because putting CVT trans fluid into the AT6 transmission will cause problems.
