It took me 3 weeks of grinding Master Wellspring to get the exotic warlock glaive to drop, the hunter one took about 2 hours, it's rng and that's all it is. Awful and weapon crafting blows. We had loot drop problems with Astral Alignment for supposedly the same reason. Wellspring is a 6-player activity with a ton of adds and ability spam. I know that the pattern comes from activity completion and not the chest, so I'm wondering if the this is problem could be in-play here. Just speculating.
