So I am doing a roblox horror game project with a few friends and we want to test changing the cursor for the entire game. I found another question on a different forum that used to work but because of Roblox updating, it doesn't work. So I tried to modify the code. My code looks like this:
Right-click on Roblox Player and choose the open file location option. Reach the keyboardmouse folder directory by browsing through the given directories content\textures\Cursors\KeyboardMouse ; Paste a PNG pic of any crosshair with an aspect ratio of 64 *64 in the mentioned folders. So, here's what I want: I have a GUI, and there's a regular button in it. When I hover over the button, a TextLabel will appear (It will describe the function and the purpose of that button), and that TextLabel is supposed to follow your mouse cursor. When you leave the button's area, the TextLabel disappears, simple as that. I tried doing this, but for some reason, the TextLabel won't ...But since then, when I hover my cursor over a click detector, the cursor does not change. I found this script to change the cursors except that it changes the cursor of a single click detector that I mention in the script beforehand:Step 1: Navigate to your Roblox Studio folder. Step 2: Open a folder named "Cursors" Step 3: Open the folder inside of there named "KeyboardMouse" Step 4: You should see an image named "ArrowCursor". Rename it to your liking. For example I just added "_notusingcurrently".
I'm not even positive that this is a ROBLOX bug and not just something wrong with my mouse. gif: You can see the ROBLOX window has focus, however the cursor is still moving in first person. edit: upon further testing, it appears to only occur in Phantom Forces - it acts as expected with mouse lock and first person in other games. w e i r d.
