I have purchased numerous size USB sticks. Each one getting smaller and smaller in size to stop it from indexing. Someone did a video saying it could be the dcm module. I don't know if the mic goes by a dcm unit ? It could be frozen, so they suggest to unplug the car battery for minimum 1h. Like. Unfortunately it’s not checked by codes, but I don’t think it’s a screen problem. After reset (drivers door open, restart…), it’s working without any problems and after few minutes drive the screen doesn’t respond anymore and later the flickering starts.

But, I noticed that the door seems to open when my finger tips are warmer vs cooler. I guess I could use touch sensitive. However, the device has to be able to detect the touch. I suspect some inanimate objects may not work. If the object is at the same or less temperature than the device, it may not recognize the touch. If you confirm the version type and the connector insertion- the only possibility is that the installer damaged the unit or the screen during the installation.
